SciFi and Fantasy Art: Christmas fae

this was a christmas card i did for my friends abroad to be able to send them christmas wishes through the modern magic of the internet...;-) i somehow do not manage to create new faces... they all look alike... *grumpf* but yeah, she's kind of sweet. her wings do have some glitter in real life but it doesn't show good on the scan. also, her bells and ribbons are made with glitter gel pens. it was very difficult for me to manage to get my written part on the picture with photoshop - it's the first time i did it and i'm proud about it:)! but that's the reason i didn't write much on it, so...;-)

(i first drew it with coloured pencils and watercolours, then scanned it in for some more changes and scanned in the written part. december 2006)
