If I tried to draw a horse you wouldn’t be able to identify it, even though it’s a Kelpie (seriously cool creatures) and not a hors, the same would come out. And I cannot believe you’re only 13! You could get an awesome job in art, if you were to pursue it for an occupation. J. Thomason replies: "I’m actually 14 now! wow! I mean, that is a HUGE difference. XD thank you! Without a reference I wouldn’t be very good. Probably. I haven’t tried it for a while. "

17 May 2008	BushMouse	Loading... It does look very real. I have to admit that from a distance, I mistook it for a crummy black-and-white photo, no offense. You have some talent. I’m twelve and like to draw horses, but I’m not nearly as good. (I use dots for detail!) J. Thomason replies: "LOL I guess it is just my critical eye... I always see flaws and so its hard for me to be insulted. Anyway, it’s not really an insult to say it’s like a photo XD thank you! It’s more than I hoped for. I should have tried using more than 6B XD"

I am always very frustrated with my ears. I tried doing a study on them and no one could tell what they were. But when you look at them on a picture, and draw them like that, they turn out looking okay without any effort! - after all, to your pencil it’s just lines and filled-in spaces. "

It has a velvet touch to it. Well done! J. Thomason replies: "You know, I would LOVE to teach an art class. I know exactly what I would teach and it would be fun. most of my friends just avoid art of any kind. I try to reason with them and they say "I have no talent!" -.- "

You will probably be like "Wow" it may be cheating, but it turns out well no matter who you are, and then you get confident and do something really nice. (I am really liking your buttercorns, by the way)"
