SciFi and Fantasy Art: Washed ashore

The tide is finally calm. After escaping a shipwreck this lone survivor catches her breath near the shore of her new home

I don't know what her name is so any suggestions would be nice  ^_^

(Suggestion for a name): "Swamp"? I don't know why, but it is the first name coming in my mind seeing this picture. I love it, beautiful drawing.

The whole washing ashore thing reminds me of Misty of Chincoteague....

:-) J. Thomason replies: "Oh, yeah, hah? That's a good book 2... Ty for commentin!"

Great picture. I'd suggest a name that had something to do with the sea: like Sedna, or Zora-djevojka (the Dawn Maiden), maybe Calypso or Hrim-Faxi (Frost mane in Norse). This scene reminds me a little of the last few minutes of the film 'The Plague Dogs'

:-) J. Thomason replies: "Those are great names! ^-^ I'm sure I will use them and probably even name her one of them but I'm not quite sure yet. Thanks!!!"

you said you were looking for a name so how about SORRA?

:-) J. Thomason replies: "Hmmm...ok! sure! I'll find a use for it! Thanks a ton! I always am in need of names."

hi there, I'm not here to make any name-suggestions just to praise your talent! (so I guess I'm welcome here, too). Your skills in drawing horses leaves me breathless... it's way too long ago since I tried myself with one... but they're never as good as yours... so keep it up I would say!!

:-) J. Thomason replies: "Thank you! um, yes, thank you! (I forgot what I was going to say 16)"

You've really got the expression there!
Names? I don't know. She kinda looks like a "Miri" to me for some reason . . .
Keep up the (very) good work!

:-) J. Thomason replies: "I like that name... but I have named her Sorra already, sorry... 2 thank you for commenting!"

A touch of colour would do nicely. Luckily that sea looks nice and calm.

:-) J. Thomason replies: "Yeah, but I'm not good w/colors. I might butcher it?"
