I can't think of anything wonderful enough to say....

1 Anne Wipf replies: "Wow ! Thank you so much. It's very kind of you. But I really love this pict myself (it takes a long long time to do). I took first a photo of my window and loved it. I gave it to a photos competition : it didn't receive any price (buy another one get the first price ! 1). So I painted it with "Neocolor" (watersoluble pastels) on grey paper, with the idea of doing fairies sparkles... and here is the result. Yes, I'm proud of it, and very happy when people says they love it too ... I know : it's particular, and the magic feeling is not obvious, but it is ..."

love it ,i think the trees are great as is the concept/idea, great work Anne ;0)

12 Anne Wipf replies: "Thank you. But they are not trees, but virginia creepers (and some pelargoniums)..."

Magic, the thumbnail doesn't do it justice. I love the colours, and the inviting open window. I also like the way that the magical elements do not overtake to picture. They just dance on the edge of your vision enhancing the natural flow and beauty of the work. When I see it I imagine it is that time when the air cools and it is just before nighttime, it makes the house look warm and inviting. Love it.

Beautiful! This must be a great place to draw and paint!

43 Anne Wipf replies: "Yes, it is... on summer. On winter, the place is quite deserted (this village counts 72 per cent holidays inhabitants!), far away a city, cold, rainy and sad..."

Oh, this looks wonderful! It makes me long for warm, quiet summer nights. You've captured the feeling perfectly and painted the magic that can be felt at those times. If I ever get as good as this I will be satisfied.

1 Anne Wipf replies: "You're flattering me. Your art is good, too. The original of this picture (done with watersoluble pastels on grey paper) is very large and it took a long time to do. The model was a photo I took myself of one of my windows, which was very successful in my opinion: I love the yellow colour of the light inside, when it is still the day outside, at the sunset. Thank you for your lovely comment."

This is beautiful! Great use of colors! Well done!

2 Anne Wipf replies: "Thank you. It is a large picture, with many details, so it took a lot of time to do and I'm please you like it."

Your subtle artwork is enchanting Anne. your use of watercolours create a colourful, dancing summertime world, and every one is a pleasure to look upon.. but of all the pictures you have displayed, this is the one what enchanted me the most. it has a deep feeling of mystery and the warmth eminating from the open window contrasts beautifully with the onset of twilight.
its a lovely peice.

:-) Anne Wipf replies: "Thank you for your looooovely comment 1"
