My snapdragons!... If I catch them, I kill them!...
(Rose and Melissa again, trying new shoes for their first Spring Ball).
I got this idea when I was a yound child: I was always fascinated by the snapdragons and found they would be wonderful shoes for fairies... I hope you'll like it.
Ink drawing, watercolours and acrylics on watercolours paper.
The are so sweet! i love the shoes, and the soft colours you use, i also see a bit more improving i really like the one with the pink dress she looks so a live"if you understand what i mean Anne Wipf replies: "Thank you so much, Asja. Getting a look to your gallery: nothing new? I would like to see more of your artwork, you are talented."
I'll probably just be another one in the line to say this but this is really a sweet and fun painting. The idea of snapdragons as shoes is really an inventive one. One can see why though... they have the right shape for it. Well done. Anne Wipf replies: "Thank you, Louise. I probably had this idea when I was 8 or 9, or perhaps less..."
LOL never thought snapdragons could be shoes. But then I don't supose you made them well... burp either Anne Wipf replies: "Mmmmmmmmmm! I'm sorry, I don't know the signification of all the words you used (English is not my first language). But I suppose it's fair. Thank you for commenting."
These Darling Fairies again... Anne Wipf replies: "Yes: they inspire me a lot, they are so mischievous, I think I'll be bored without their presence! I'm thinking to do a calendar with them, one picture for every month. I've already an idea for June (where my fairies will not be visible, except for their jokes), July, and August (not very clear yet, I have to mature it)... Soon in this gallery! "
I like the bright colors in this and the faerys. But this isn't that far fetched. If you take the heads off of danelion stems, and get several of them together. Then put the small end of a stem into the larger end, you can make a neat little chain. Or if you tear the stems up a little then put them in water, they'll curl up.
I don't know what they're called but we have "pop" flowers where there used to be fields around I'd go to the field and take these white flowers and pop them. Anne Wipf replies: "I'm sorry: I can't really understand what you mean (my English is not perfect, and I really can't see what the dandelions are doing here???) Nevertheless thank you for stopping and for your comment."

Hi Anne,
Thank you for welcoming me to the woods WAAAAY back in November! I love your ethereal water color art. And I definitely need to get a pair of Snapdragon shoes - I bet they’re soft! Anne Wipf replies: "I hope so Thank you for your lovely comment "
heehee Snapdragon fairy shoes, I thought of the same thing as a child. It is nice to see the idea done in art, and done so wonderfully at that. Anne Wipf replies: "Yes, I was a child too when I had this idea Thank you for your lovely comments "
