Here I have drawn sorcerer Vrimestemon as a fortune teller. I don't know whether in your countries there is such a tradition, but in Poland od St. Andrew's Eve (29 November) girls and boys try to foretell what their future partner will be like. Earlier there was a separate night for boys (24 November, St. Catherine's Eve) and for girls (St. Andrew's Eve), but now it's the same for both sexes. In the picture there are many elements of traditional St. Andrew's Eve's divination, such as pouring wax through a key (or birch withes) or peeling the apple to foretell name's first letter from the peeling. Vrimestemon is holding a Tarot card "The Lovers" for they're fortune tellings about future love. There's also the date of November 29 on the calendar.
This is my attempt to draw by coloured pencils seriously. It turned out to be so HARD! There are lots of things I have to learn about coloured pencils... And the scan really changed the colours and the details :(
Thanks for sharing your culture! I never knew about that. I like your guy's hair. It's pretty. Magdalena Wolff replies: "Thank you, Michelle! I think that such culture features are interesting."
