Silmarillion, Of Maeglin. It's Eöl's execution. The picture was painted for a contest titled 'A tragic character in Tolkien's books'. I chose Eöl, because he's my favourite Tolkien's character. Idril visible through the window - she's sad, because earlier she begged for mercy for Eöl. The man beside her is Turgon, still furious with Eöl and grieving because of his sister (Aredhel) death.
It took a looot of time to finish. It's made in watercolours, A4 format.
