SciFi and Fantasy Art: Star god on his throne

These are characters from my novel: Star god Yala and Blind Fate (in young boy's shape). Here you have the quote:

"-She was supposed to reject him! - yelled Fate. He stormed fretfully in god Yala's residence, before his glowing, radiant visage. Yala was following him with his eyes in silence. With his eyes, in which only gods were able to look - so strong was their light."

The translation is mine, so sorry for any stupid mistakes^^' I had no idea my prose was so difficult to translate! ;)

The mask on the top of the picture is used by Yala when he wants to appear before mortals - because he doesn't want to blind them by his light.  He's the ruler of stars and a star himself. He is often sad, for he in fact is a prisoner of the skies. He cannot leave his residence, it's forbidden - if he would, all stars would fall from the sky...
