SciFi and Fantasy Art: Goat Girl II

Currently, this is just a sketch. I already see vast improvements to 'Goat Girl,' though. Both of these drawings are to convey a sense of loss and sadness, and I think that this will do well. Comments much appreciated here.

looking at the miniature of this picture now, from the comment page, an imbalance of concentration is clear. That area will stick out in any form you make this vision, whether with a deeper color or more defined strokes.
What struck me most initially was how thoroughly it conveys emptiness, not only by what is there, but by what is not there and how light the sketch appears. I can see in my mind how the creature's features would play out in a more advanced piece, and i believe that you will be able to still campture the strain there.
