SciFi and Fantasy Art: My Backyard

Last fall when the Virginia Creeper was in full color, I took my camera out and set it up on a tripod and waited for just the right light. I dozed off and was awakened by the muted sound of wings. This is one of the pictures of the wildlife in my backyard.

I can see this peice bridging the gap between those who appreciate fantasy and those who just don't get it. Excellent! I wouldn't mind having a print of this one!

As most people have already noted, the wings are really beautiful, and I think faery's expression and pose are really cute... And it doesn't all look like a "composed image" It flows together. And the colours...
