I do have to agree with all the other commenters. (including fiona's) the actual expressions might not be exactly as intended, but the result is even better than it would have been otherwise. I dont know which i like better. Arwen going "well have i ever..." or the horse who is clearly about to say "i got plenty more where that came from, baby"Whoooo let us hear it, horse! Regarding his naughty eyes, I think I love his jokes! 2

Umm, can I just point out that your horse's head looks funny? His head appears to taper too much. Sorry for sounding like a party pooper but you draw so well it's a shame for it to be let don't by a mistake like that. And you can trust me to notice something like that, I spent WAY too much time in my materials class last year looking at the skulls in one of the cabinets in our classroom.I think you are absolutely right about the horse's head, Charlotte. But I can't help it, that horse is so stubborn, it just wanted to have that head when I drew it! I have talked to it and looked at it the same way Arwen does on the picture, but no, just this head it wants! LOL

Another Arwen picture! I must have overlooked this one the first time around. Anyway, I don't see the same emotions that the others see. I see the smugness in the horse, but Arwen looks sad. I may be off the rocker here, but when I look, I see Arwen thinking of Aragorn, perhaps not long after the Fellowship leaves. Horses are excellent sources of comfort *huggles beloved pet mare* when you're sad or angry. I would love to see you do an interpretation of Arwen and her mother Celebrian. You see a lot of portraits of Arwen on Elfwood, but you don't see her actually doing anything. This is why I like your work. You make Arwen seem less like the Mona Lisa, and more like herself (did that just make any sense at all?).Did that make sense? Stephanie I love your story! Arwen is indeed contemplating and the horse doesn't understand why she isn't going out with it, running in the fields. 2 I also like the idea of making a picture of Arwen and her mother, I will think about it. Thank you very much Stephanie!

forget about the horse and Arwen (like them, of course12, lets talk about the wooden beams! They're amazing!!! Ow well, the pencilwork on this entire picture is absolutely great!
Too bad about the horse's head, but it doesn't really bother me since everything else is perfect!2Let the horse's head be, I think there must also be some ugly horses in the elven world. And for the beams, I will never be able to draw the wood you create, Marjan. You are the real wood drawer. 2

Oh, my, da WOOOD!!! Ssoo realistic, great! Of course, the whole picture is very good, but the wood was the first thing that struck me. Love Arwen's gaze here, and the composition is very eye-catching. I like to draw wood and I love trees, I'm glad you like the picture. Thank you very much, Manuela!

Very beautiful... You are really talented. I really like the interaction of Arwen with her horse, I can feel the emotions in the drawing. Your other artwork is great, keep it up 12I appreciate your words very much, I think you are a very talented artist, much more than the most of us! Thank you so much for stopping by and leaving such a nice comment.

The horse is very well done. Her anatomy is good and proportionate, though her profile appears a bit flat, and her left arm seems a little stiff. You have good technique though and a good eye for values.

I like this picture, they look like they are very thoughtful and glad to be close to a friend. I love the shading on this and the proportions look really well done too.
