| 30 Mar 2004 | Fiona McMillan | It never fails to amaze me that I can come back to your gallery and notice something that I've missed before... This is everything I love about art - so emotive and tender; every pencil stroke 'feels' as though you really thought about what you were doing. If that makes any sense??! It certainly touches something deep within, anyway... Anneke Hut replies: "Fiona, I'm very pleased with your comment, because you are so right about the making of it. This picture is very important to me. Thank you! " | |
| 9 Jun 2004 | Trinton C. Garrett | Anneke,
When I saw this I had an Intro come to mind..I hope you don't mind:
Atlas hears of the death of his one true love one, he falls to one knee. Unable to hold back the tears that are racking his body, he feels as if his heart is breaking in two. Yet, he hasn’t truly lost her, for she is still with him, holding him, comforting him, and loving him though his grief. She protects him even still today with her unconditional love as his guardian angel. Now that is a description that belongs to this picture! Wonderful story, it fits really very well! Thanks for visiting, Trinity. | |

| 5 Sep 2004 | Marcel Nyström | Hello Anneke, way too long time no see. *lol* You can say that! WAYYYYY TOOOOO LOOOOOOONG! Slowly getting back to the art-life, and taking some time to look around again. That's good! When can we see your new artwork? Apart from what I think light proportion mismatches, I like this one. Makes me want to have my own angel embracing me like that, hehe...Everybody has one, Marcel. Just look around and you will see her. | |
| 29 Sep 2004 | Johanna 'Dragon' Jonsson | This picture reminds me so much of when I met my guardian for the first time (except mine is male). He has been such a great support for me in bad times and he is my muse and model for a lot of pics. I love this picture. The shading is great and the composition is just stunning. I would be proud to call myself an artist if I could draw like this. Just love it.Well, then start calling yourself an artist, Johanna, because you draw so much better than me! How wonderful you have your own personal guardian who protects you and inspires you! | |
| 15 Dec 2004 | Rian Sanderse | Just gorgeous, he will never be alone. She will always watch over him. Love the wings Love RianYes, she will always guide him on his way, if he lets her. Sometimes we don't see our guardian angels. | |
