SciFi and Fantasy Art: Mr. Woodchip

Richard offered me a woodchip to bite on while practising the H-pencils. It helped, but his wise advice of December the 4th (see my comments) helped me much more.Thank you 'coach' I sure wouldn't mind biting into this woodchip. Now I'm off to my paint and brushes. (January 23rd: I revaluated him to become my Guardian angel)

The only thing is that while his pecs are quite developed, he's missing abdominal muscles. The only thing? I think the hand could have some more detail too! And if you ask Mr. Woodchip himself I think he would say, give me some hair please. LOL

What a black beauty!!! *stares* O_O Yup, you're very lucky to have him as a garduian Angel, I guess... Well enough about pretty boy, over to your technichs. I admire them! The shading is well done! The anatomy looks great! And I especially like the way the en-profile head came out! One tiny thing...his wings look a bit small for such a muscled man, or maybe it's just me?No it's not just you Suzan, I agree with you on the wings. Reason for the size is, I have added them later to keep him in my Elfwood gallery. My paper wasn't big enough. At first he was a wingless guardian angel. 2

Exceptional graphite work, everything is in perfect proportion and he radiates calm through his strength. The Morpheus of the angelic realm (Matrix reference) Did you draw completely from imagination. I wish i could make my angels wings that believable.I haven't seen the Matrix! *blushes for so much stupity!* But I have looked it up at Google and you are right, it's stunning how much my Guardian Angel looks like the Morpheus man! Thanks for the visit, Beven, I really appreciate it!
