SciFi and Fantasy Art: The Orishas - Oshalah

He is the supreme boss of the orishas, but in this figure he is down by Olorum, the king of them, who created the earth and the sky and said to Oshalah to take care of the world and the people of the earth. So he is called Father Oshalah. Oshalah has to forms, this, the young oshalah (Oxagian), and the older (Oshalufan). The first is the leadership spirits, the older , the father of knowledge. He wears always white, silver, cristal.

17 Feb 2002	Troy L. Megli	Loading... A beautiful image Aline! I find it interesting that his septor would resemble that of the ancient egyptian ankh & hold a similar place in leadership. I've studied many ancient cultures and mythology's and found that most are quite similar in many ways.
