| 9 Sep 2003 | Steven Payne | Your poses are quite out of the ordinary and you are able to draw the human figure to their finest proportions. Both aspects combine and work in harmony. | |
| 15 Mar 2006 | Erin N. Conley | Your anatomy is quite good, have you been taking any figure drawing classes? If not I'm sure you'll excel when you get to one! Good luck with your art school stuff, better late than never! You asked for coloring suggestions...I'm no expert but I could point out a few possibilities...For one, you might try some more dramatic shading, I can sympathize with being afraid you'll "ruin" the picture but it really polishes your work when you add more depth to it...For another you might try adjusting your skin shade to be slightly pinker, you seem to tend towards a rather yellowish shade of skin...which is fine if you're trying to draw someone with that kind of complexion, but I don't think it's what you were aiming for? Aside from coloring, you might try expirimenting with different types of pictures to draw, not that what you have isn't nice, but maybe you could branch out a bit. Pinup girls are all fine and well, but you can throw a rock anywhere in Elfwood and hit ten galleries that are dedicated to them exclusively, the picture like your skirt/kilt girl picture shows more unique personality ) Nice job and good luck! | |
