SciFi and Fantasy Art: Daerik Likes Lute-ing

My elfy piratey characters: most of the regular faces are here! Except for Artimus, who deemed this little party to be beneath him. I love seeing the Fear of God in Gaebril's eyeballs as he worries over the fate of his lute (he's a traveling bard). :D Jessie's confiding in the dragonling, 'Mmm-hmm, I've seen all that before. Nothing too great.'

The part that amuses me the most is that I keep drawing my own characters acting heinously OUT of character. Shameful...

So what the new first post thingy now anyways? Aw well I guess a good jig'll do. Keep up the good work. Amy Phoenix Clark replies: "Thanks! 23 Oct 2005	Solo	Loading... Very nice work Phoenix! You did especially well on the facial expressions- very clear. However, one thing I'd like to suggest for the future is, for the character with the... instrument: I'm assuming he's jumping up, but it really looks like he's floating there. A small change in the hair could change this; Try curling the ponytail upwards (or downwards, depending on which part of the jump he's in) to give him a stronger sense of motion. Fantastic job though, keep up the good work! Amy Phoenix Clark replies: "Thanks for the crit! I see constructive crit so very little here in the Wood."
