SciFi and Fantasy Art: Simas'ta

What we have here is one of the giants of Kolwyn. Simas'tan as the Bree call them, a word the means 'The Monsters.' They are native to many mountain ranges throughout the world. Contrary to thier name, they are actually gentle and protective creatures of a high intelligence. They are creatures of the world, asexual, and speak with telepathy. This one carries with him a weapon called the Iron Cross. Simas'tan grow to between ten to thirteen feet, falling no were near the size of giants in earth mythology. Pencil on paper.

22 Jun 2001	Stacey j heyman	Loading... I really like that iron cross. Looks almost like you put a filter on the real thing. The guy is very interesting. A bit awkward maybe. Hehe. Art can be fun, i wanna be an architect and design all odd species of buildings. Bad at math tho. Sigh -- These guys certainly do look awkward, but are surprisingly agile. I didn't put any filters on this... actually, the way it looks is due to a bad scan conversion. ;-p. BTW, you can do anything you want to do if you put your heart and soul into it. Adam --

I dunno how, but you've managed to convey the gentleness you talked about into the picture, even if he is holding a fairly dangerous looking weapon there Adam C. Raney replies: "Thanks Rosie. I agree that there does seem to be something off about such a gentle creature with such a huge weapon. The truth is, these guys aren't afraid to defend others when needed, and they have the tools for it as you can see ;-)"
