SciFi and Fantasy Art: Talon

<div class='text block pppt'>Cover for the upcoming book "Talon", first of The Astor Chronicles series by Australian author Amanda Greenslade.
One of the largest commissions I've ever painted, in terms of size. I'm not used to working at such a large resolution, so it took several weeks longer than I had planned on. I had to constantly merge layers down so my poor comp wouldn't explode. But it's finished now! And I am very proud of that sky.  ^__^
