SciFi and Fantasy Art: Highstepping....hellhound?

Yesh....this pic is muchly very crazy...
I donno, but it does seem to resemble a dog....and it has fire, so it MUST be a hellhound. *nodsconvincingly*
The ears...are very interesting, don't you think? I'm not sure either where they come from or where they're going. *shrugs* All right...enough tortourous rambling.
