SciFi and Fantasy Art: Sunning Mermaid

This is a typical mermaid. Why is it that whenever I see a mermaid she's sunning herself, playing horrible tricks on others, or perfecting her looks? Gee...they sound a lot like faeries. ::blushes:: Anyway, this is her egotistical self. I think I'll name her Trenditea! ::giggles::
