Uncommonaly good use of a lens flare, they usualy just look naff but it works really well here. I really like the background! This is definetly one of the best moderators choices!

Hey! Good job on mods choice. This reminds me from a scene in the book "echoes of the great song" by david gemmell. I think i spelled that right. Nice!

Wow, Alex. What did you do this with? It is really spectacular, whatever you used. The lighting effects are really awesome. Keep crankin out the awesome artwork, man!

PS I like the moon! Wicked awesome!

I bet that bird is saying "Dang! it must´ve been a huuge bird who laid that egg" (don´t pay attention to that, I tend to go psycho from time to time. Love the coloring.

Beautiful ship and the details are awesome. Where the man's gun touches the rock it looks like there is a dolphins head did you plan that?

Outstanding.

Well, after all the other comments there isn't too much to say other than "good work!!!!". I love the detail and the coloring and the realism. The only thing I'd have to say that really bugs me is how there isn't much attention to lighting on the man. The lense-flare was used well, however, the lighting on the man has little to do with it... there should be some shading from that on him, or more so if there is some already. I think you might want to touch that up a little bit.

But none-the-less, it's a very increadible piece and I do like it! Good work =)

The ship and background look really good; the shading on the ship gives it a very real, metallic look to it, and the contrast between light and dark in the sky is great. However, the man does seem to be a lacking a little detail, but only in comparison to the rest of the piece. As someone else mentioned, perhaps working on his hair in another program would make him look less "Poser-ish."

Great work, and congrats on Mod's Choice! 2

I love how you have the bird on the giant gun, and the guy, he is cool. Yesh, if this was a videogame, like Halo or something, I would so play it...
