However, what exactly is the thing on the pummle (pommle?) the bottom part? is it a spike or like some string or what. i think that parts needs to be more clear, but otherwise i like this sword a lot  Andy Godbehere replies: "The thing attatched to the pummel is just a ribbon, laid out (and twisted?) as if the sword were on a table or something. The name Amaranth to me symbolizes a sort of enduring beauty, and the sword's weilder Deranth might be known as a little enduring I'd think." | |
