You've got a lot of potential, Sarah. Don't stop drawing. If you keep practicing, you'll get to be very good. (Words I should probably heed as well.)

Welcome to the Woods, Sarah. Keep up the good work (as Mr. Mackey would say) M'kay.

cities are boring because loudness never lets you experience the good stuff - on the other hand they do have trolleys and libraries - but you can relax - you are surrounded by the cool healing balm of the woods now - a welcoming and frendly place where little furry critters with big sharp teeth purr loudly and unexpected adventure lurks around every tree and you never know who or what is going to sprout wings and the tyranny of conventionality holds no sway and ... anyway let me add my voice to those of welcome ... ~12

I apologize for the bad scans of the acrylics... Though it's by far my favorite medium, i guess i don't use the right paper. That's what all the variations between light and dark are on there... so, again, sorry for those. i'll try to work on different paper *Grins* thanks for all your comments! they're very helpful!

Sarah, I really like your acrylics. Never mind the light and dark ripple. We still get the idea. Great stuff. It seems that if you used a heavier paper or even a board you might not get that. I think it's just the scanner creating highlights, which would be the case if your paper wrinkles a little when you paint on it. Much the same way it would if you got a drop of water on a sheet of notebook paper. Keep posting your work, though. I'll try and check back in the future.

I think you are a very tallented drawer. I love the way you do the landscapes 2 . Just keep on drawing!

Wow! I just started drawing a year ago starting March or April this year. Loria really reminds me of one of my pieces of art (though not nearly as good) of a blind drow I did! I thought your art was spectacular, and I hope one day I'll reach your level. Artist's block will pass once you just start scribbling something out, and it will take shape of something, so just scribble awhile..the shapes will form soon enough.

Well I must say that you are extremely good at drawing, this compliment coming from an English major who can't draw himself...how did I find this? Let's just say that my computer skills are better than my painting skills! Keep up the good work, my love!
