This is my first attempt at any sort of mythical animal... Greek mythology has always been a favorite of mine. *Grins*

*gapes* Oh my gosh.. that picture must have taken a -long- time to draw. I cannot even begin to comprehend the patience required to draw each individual scale like that... good job!

This picture brings back memories about a Ad&d game which was totally underwater. I played a Neriad water elemental that had a hippocampus for a pet but the only thing it could seem to do was when it swam it would spinn around in a spril...not very useful!!!! Very Good drawing though!!!

I like your drawing alot but you can't tell if thats what it really looked like I've been doing resarch on hippocampus for a few years I have seen many pictures but I like yours the best.
