SciFi and Fantasy Art: Sleeping Dragon

Dragon snoozing under a tree. Done because we were forced to 'decorate' the front of our folders(easy identification -- hence my name and class) for art ('98 may i add). Frankly I quite enjoyed the result. Tis about A3 sized. It was drawn straight on with a thick black marker pen. The pen, as I discoverd when laying a watercolour wash, was not waterproof. But the effect, though originally undesired, produced an interesting colour scheme.

I think it would be inspiring (and a touch intimidating) to have this to look at every time you wanted to sketch something. I like the way your colors work together. And nice composition too.

2 Mar 2000	Nicholas B. Kearley	Loading... very good! I belive it would make a good cover for anyone who likes dragons. Great use of colors too. it does look like there is more off to the side , is there? If you were to do a book about yourself as an artist I think this would make a great cover.
