SciFi and Fantasy Art: Sin

My darkness... Roses of blood dance in raven hair, pallid flesh moves with smooth seduction. Ethereal and unreal, shadow given flesh and form. Each night my sins come back to haunt me...

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I've watched sin city one too many times. This was one of a couple of experiements in a limited palette. Nothing but every shade of cool grey, black, white and a red pencil.
Edit: because someone asked, this was done with prismacolor pencils on black cardstock.
WOW you are an inspiring artist!!! oh & why do u never answr replys? keep up the good work!!
:-) Jessica 'Vestaka' Douglas replies: "I used to reply to each and every comment I got, until I realised I was literally spending 6-8 hours a day *just* replying to comments. So now, unless it's a question, I tend to just let them be. I don't have 6-8 hours a day to devote to answering questions... that time should be spent on other things. I'm sure you understand. "
You yourself probably don´t realize it but there is in fact a artistic, free side on your works.If i would say "keep up the good paste" and you actually listened it, your next post would probably suck.So just do whatever you like, so the freeness wont dissapear.
I think this is my favorite. I'm a big fan of grayscale with a tinge of color. I love this peice.
I think this is one of the most beautiful pieces I have ever seen. The beauty could kill. I love the grayscale contrasted to the red petals. Amazing! Could I also use this one in my tour?
This one is amazingly gorgeous and very very good. The way her arm falls across her back most have been hard to draw but it looks wonderful here. I love it!
The simplicity of this piece makes it especially pretty. I like the limited color palette -- the shades of grey really make the few flecks of red stand out.
And other people have mentioned this, but THE HAIR! You are a master at drawing hair!
