| 30 Dec 1998 | Del ´Delusion´ Borovic | ooh, nice story on the character-the ones that turn into stuff when they get hyped are fun to play, huh? I like the positioning on this one-neat ideas. The only thing I would say is to get a better scan.. there're some details that I can't see. | |
| 18 Jul 1999 | John Teall | dexterity in place of armour - that explains a great deal which up until now i have understood but poorly - for a mechine who does not know she is a mechine this might well work - for anything capable of experiencing tedium and boardom it would become suicidal long befor the body itself grew hopelessly fatigued - the adrenaline of beserking could of course extend that - for a little while ... Andrea T.A. Osakoda replies: "I think it's a cool concept. If you play AD&D (2nd edition) or similar type of game play, a very high armor class is usually due to very subtle protections (like anklets of shielding +2 etc) and great dex. Yes, fatigue is an issue, and she goes back to normal after the rush is through." | |
| 16 Mar 2001 | Viv. 'Sai' Chien | Gotta think about that for a little... but I do understand the dexterity in place of armor. Who needs armor if you can't be hit? But insectoids in general have a nice outer shell. And they're hella fast. Insects are like that. Little buggers. (Ok not so little, in this case.) Those claws on her hands look like they could do some damage too. Aeon Flux sounds familiar... anime? nn. Hard to remember at 3:15 AM... Andrea T.A. Osakoda replies: "LOL yep, that was pretty much the concept when I created her and my DM added on that little surprise package to this character. Aeon Flux used to be an animation on MTV. Not quite anime, but close enough. If you read the "Finder's Stone Trilogy" (Forgotten Realms, Harper series) there is an excellent example of magical armor in there." | |
