SciFi and Fantasy Art: Dragon Youth

This was actually a doodle created during a 3-hour phone call with my sister. I drew it in my sketchbook, but tore out the page so I can mail it to her. The dragon itself is drawn with a mechanical pencil, but I later went and added the cave using my graphite pencils. Did some touching up later with the graphite for deeper shading on the dragon as well. The paper is regular journal-type paper (I guess you could call it bond paper). Once again, I was experimenting here, and because it is a doodle, I had nothing to base this on. Please pardon the scan.
