SciFi and Fantasy Art: Anne Bishop's Jaenelle Angelline

This is the main female character (Jaenelle) as Witch in the Black Jewels Trilogy (excellent, though somewhat dark fantasy books). I was fascinated by the complexity and mystique of this character. She had so many sides to her... This is her as Witch (or as I say 'unicorn girl' to those who hasn't read the books). The bristol paper I used for this was too big for the scanner, so the picture is somewhat distorted. When I get access to a bigger scanner, I'll redo this, but until then will just have to sigh and make do.

I totally agree with the person who posted before me. She looks like a slut. A lopsided-boob slut.

Good picture, but you are kinda making Jaenelle look like a slut, which she's not.

the person who posted 3 above me, keep your cruel comments to yourself. someone put time and effort into that picture, and i'm sure its better than what you could do, so keep it to you self and stop putting others art down! Also notice that you have to Aviod bad language!!!(dont say the S-L-U-T word!!!!!!!!!)

She is NOT a unicorn girl. She is Witch sorry for being critical but she is part Tigre and many other things. I do like the drawing and i look forwar to a better larger version.

The weaver of dreams book is awesome! (so is the Black Jewels trilogoy2 ) i can’t wait to read tangled dreams. Andrea T.A. Osakoda, you are truly an artist. whenever i read the book’s i always imagine what jaenelle would look like but i could never draw it as well as u did2. just wondering... have you ever compared someone in your life to one of the characters in the book? I did. dont really tell your dad he reminds you of Saetan 2 or tell your 22 year old brother he looks like Daeman. 2

Although this is not exactally how I pictured Jaenelle it is an awesome drawing. Also I would love to chat with anyone who has read the books by Anne Bishop. Not many people like them where I live so it would be nice to talk to someone who thinks these books are as amazing as I do. My e-mail is stardusteclipse@yahoo.com
