SciFi and Fantasy Art: Traveller to a new land

This was actually inspired by Lord of the Rings, however, I took a lot of artistic license here, wanting to show how small man is in comparison to the grander scheme of things. This is done with acrylic, and though I don't have a whole lot of experience with it, I was quite pleased with the results. I had to scan pieces of this in 4 times, and by the fourth time, I was just fed up and decided to leave it as it is. The far-off land is inspired by the mountains here in Hawaii.

Ohh, pretty...o_o acrylics, huh? Geez!! Acrylics make me so angry because they NEVER WORK FOR ME!! o_O; but you made them work so nicely...Whee!
