SciFi and Fantasy Art: Purple

Orvi curled her fingers delicately around the blade of the sword, careful not to use any pressure for the blade was razor sharp. Still, somewhere deep within, in a place she knew existed even though she was having a bit of difficulty finding it at the moment, she was glad that the sword wasn't meant to be used for its blade. Not only was it too heavy to be used with any efficiency, but Orvi hadn't the least clue about how to use swords of any size. She looked to the skies, wondering how long it would be before help came - how long she could draw on the energy of the sword to keep the dragons at bay.
