SciFi and Fantasy Art: Awakening

Wow, I love the leaves, the wood and all the rest of the background, except your fairy. Sorry but compared to the rest of it, the creature looks kind of cheap and a bit generic. You said a lot of detail from her was lost because of the scaling, maybe show a close up? but even so, the rest of the picture just stands out more than her. I could tell that the time and work you put into her is less than the rest of the stuff. But you definitely have amazing skill, another thing - even though she is not in proportion to human form she is very much designed to the proportions fashion designers use for illustrations, the only thing that makes her look odd is her feet, those are just to small.

I really liked the colours you chose. I have to say, I thought the fairy stood out as blue. I'll try to draw fairies. I think it would look a little better if you put some clothes on her, "moon silk" or something. Something light and soft.

On scale from 1 to 10,I give this pic a 9.5 (cause it`s made by computer program,not by hand)

I know you've been getting a lot of REALLY lenient comments to this pic but I'm afraid it's not all that great. Not to be rude or anything, you could just use some work on body style. I will say that your background is absolutely stunning.

oh...and the "Anonymous"’s comment about the 9.5?? if going by hand/computer I don’t think he/she realizes how difficult computer art can be!! I find hand-drawing 10 times easier than mouse-drawing.
