SciFi and Fantasy Art: (1) Faery Wars

::The captain of Royal Guards moans as her head is lifted up, expecting another beating. Instead she sees the sad eyes of her Prince. 'My Lord, the Pixies have taken our King! You must find him... you find your father...' She coughs up blood and the life leaves her eyes. The Prince continues to look at his childhood friend, not knowing whether to cry or shout out in anger at his friend leaving him behind...::

A short description of the idea behind the drawing: Prince goes off to the Front to lead troops to victory, comes home to find his Kingdom destroyed, his father missing and his best friend dying... Drawn with 0.5 mechanical pencil on cartridge paper and coloured in Adobe Photoshop, my second attempt with my new Graphic Tablet ^_^...
