SciFi and Fantasy Art: (1) Phyx

Yes, I know one obvious mistake, her left arm looks longer than her right, oh well, (I think I may have stuffed up the background too :P). Oh how I wish I had a graphic tablet. How do you draw a cold and sullen person who happens to be looking for her lost love?? In this picture Phyx is retracing her steps to where she last saw her love (I'm making all of this up cause I don't know what really happened ;) Being a former Amazon she still wears her tribal markings (the blue feather thingy, out of habit I guess) and is always on her toes, thus her strange walking position, hands on her weapon ready to be drawn. As she is in the forest she has no need for cumbersome backpacks and supplies, she knows how to look after herself! That's my reasoning for drawing Phyx the way I have, any complaints??

I love ur picture! The colors go together perfectly. All the shadowing is PERFECT!! Also, I dont think the left arm is longer than the right. It only looks that way because her fingers are curled under.I think you did a wonderfully excellent job and i dont know where on earth you found the time to do it! I certainly dont have that much time on my hands. Anyway, the picture is great! Keep up the good word

One arm isn't longer the one is just bent so she doesn't strain her arm. I like it

you cant be a former Amazon. They were a tribe of people, a race of people, not a club or something.

EEGALY BEEBALEY! WOW! How I DO love the colored version! The background seems a lot easier to define in this one for me. And...ohhh.. the colors seem perfect. And it's a job very well done, I must say.

I have only one "comlain" why have people to have same lenght arms and legs? Why she can't have an arm a bit longer than the other, like you drawed her??. Yes, her left arm is a bit longer... just two or three millimeters, but I thinks that's not bad. Or maybe all should have the same face!.
It's a good picture.
I see she has a old face. She has too long the low jaw and I see her nose crunched like she hit an iron. That's how I see her face.
I like the drawing
