SciFi and Fantasy Art: (2) Welcome Home

All the pains and sorrows of life amount to nothing if there is no joy to compare them to. Some of us do not have the light of hope, but instead look for the release of death to take them to a better place. Is this place any better than the world we live in? One will only find out once they've crossed the boundaries the keep us from loved ones passed. Until that day, those without hope simply wait for the day that an angel whispers 'Welcome home...'

Ball point pen on A4 paper. Mistakes are a plenty and very much obvious, but there some features that I did not intentionally add... I only noticed it after I scanned it in :P

10 May 2003	Naomi	Loading... The pain and ruthless violence is enough to send me running down the street screaming like a maniac and tearing my hair out. That's the effect this picture has on me. Weird no? But the utter ruthlessness of this angel is tear jerking. Really when I look at it I wonder what you were feeling while drawing this image. If I could sum this image up in one word it would probably have to be humanity. The reason for it I don't know. I so no mistakes probably because the emotions muddled my mind. A heartwrenchin piece of excellent art.
