SciFi and Fantasy Art: Flamma Draconis

Flamma Draconis is the product of a genetics experiment gone awry which gave her magical powers. Any comments are much appreciated...especially on the coloring. Character and backstory belong to Ravinia. Both were posted on a character site (since defunct) at bakaneko.com which allows people to post character descriptions they want others to draw. Great way to break an artist's block. This is my first time doing elaborate hair shading so I had to figure it out from scratch (and reference pics).

11 Sep 2001	Elizabeth Sherry	Loading... I like your colouring style - very clean. The hand is very nicely done. I'm not sure that I particularly like the nose, but that might just be the style that the picture was done in. The hair is just amazing. The amount of detail that you've put into it looks really great. And as far as I know, HTML works in the picture descriptions. I use it in mine .
