| 13 Jun 2000 | Christopher J. Kopf | Very nice pic, one of the better dragon pics Ive come across....those toes ARE fun to draw | |
| 15 Jun 2000 | Orin Drake | I love how the wings just kind of drop and fade away... and of course the pose is wonderful too, not to mention the determined look. | |
| 25 Jun 2000 | Tanos | Dude... she looks ready to leap up and pounce on something... hehehe. As said before, the wings are very unique -- haven't seen that sort before -- but I particularly like how you've used the colours for the texture of her scales. Very very creative, awesome! | |
| 5 Aug 2000 | Daniel Melchizedek Dewey | I like how you did its feet. Its like the old style way of drawing dragon feet. | |
| 2 Oct 2000 | George Karl Kaufman | My favorite part on this is actually his wings. They look very fluid - an effect I find difficult to do myself. They look soft as well - very nice. | |
| 19 Jan 2001 | Viv. 'Sai' Chien | _Her_ wings. Yes, they are very nice. Kinda like a pair of windsails on a boat or sommat, yes? I like the expression you captured in the face, very...like annoyed/almost ready to take a swipe at some offender. Those claws look very sharp, yep. Belly scales are spiffy, though the thought that popped into my head was if she's a seadragon, shouldn't the belly scales face towards the tail to give a little more streamlined body? Er, well that's just a minor detail. That and the invisible right hind leg. Don't worry about it, this picture is wonderful. Mayhap you and I can do a pic trade sometime, if I ever get through all the pictures I'm supposed to draw.... O.ox; Alice Hsieh (Changewinds) replies: "Hehe, another minor correction, sea blue is the color, she's not a sea dragon really, just occasionally likes to float on the waves, her scales looking like sunlight off water, so she blends in rather well." | |
| 8 Oct 2001 | Jennifer A. Cabbage | I fear I have to echo the hysterical comment about her toes. Those talons are great. I'm abysmal at dragon .. feet? paws? myself. Arg. They always look so completely dorky. You did a fabulous job with her neck and belly plates, too, the way they overlap with the outward-jutting bits. | |
| 21 Oct 2001 | Norma Peters | Oh, she's lovely! The color choices are exquisite, and I'm particularly drawn to those belly scales. Well done! | |
| 10 Nov 2001 | Christiaan, A.Iken | I do like her expression, its perfect, i dont konw if u meantto have her looking kind of funny too, but shes cute even though shes grimancing,. Really nice, i love dragons. Alice Hsieh (Changewinds) replies: "Hehe, I do believe you're right. Dragons with potbellies aren't meant to be completely serious." | |
| 1 Apr 2002 | Rachel E. Ross | I really like her!! Looks like you have neat stories in your head! (I need to draw Nycteris sometime) I like all of the same things everyone else liked though - the belly scales, and the toes, and the colors.. Neat neat neat! | |
