SciFi and Fantasy Art: Dragon-thing..

A draconic creature of a nameless species.. they are incapable of flight, so they're not really a dragon. They also have no breath weapons, and the only magic they posess is manipulation of dirt/mud, which is why they live mostly in swamps.. Anyhoo, this guy was a 'commision' for a friend, even though he did NOT! pay me for it no matter what he says ;P heh. Done in pencil.

Aaaactually, dragons don't have to have wings or breathe fire or the like. Dragon's don't have to be as big as a mansion, or trailer for that matter. The only SPECIFIC detail that a dragon must possess is that it has to be reptilian. If it's a reptile, than it can be a dragon. And besides, a thing of fantasy is not bound by rules. I prefer the lil' cat sized dragons that can sit on your shoulder ^-^ Buuuuut if the specifics said it wasn't a dragon then....oh well....Aaaaaanyway, great DRAGON!-DMC*****
Hey now, quit preachin' to me like I dunno what a dragon is ;P heh. As far as I'm concerned, "actual" dragons have wings, but other dragonkin may not.. and they have a breath weapon, but certainly not always fire. And of course they do come in any size.. my "squeak" dragon around here somewher is only the size of a soda can =) And I have to disagree with your reptillian part.. I've seen mammilian and aquatic dragons as well. 2
But, as you said on another comment.. To each his(or her!) own. *shrug*
