SciFi and Fantasy Art: Poem and A Rose

2004 - A quick picture done for a friend (now girlfriend). She wrote the poem which I quite liked and so I placed it in the picture. I feel the green rose is a little strange and it's quality is not proportionate to the creature. She liked it however, and it now hangs in a frame on her wall.

18 May 2004	Sara Pålsson	Loading... This one is beautiful... It has my favorite colours in it too, blue and green! I like the dragon sitting there and reading the poem with his big eyes... And the wings and the pattern on the wings are neat too!

"I'll love you, dear, I'll love you Till China and Africa meet, And the river jumps over the mountain And the salmon sing in the street, "I'll love you till the ocean Is folded and hung up to dry And the seven stars go squawking Like geese about the sky. etc. I do love your artwork; it flows very nicely and I adore the bright colors. Keep up the excellent work!
19 May 2004	Amber	Loading... this is an awsome picture everything about it is cool do you get the idea for the green rose from the short story by Ray Bradberry called "Dark they were and golden eyed" because in that short story there is a green rose?
