SciFi and Fantasy Art: Swordman

Quite a large piece that i did with prismacolour pencils (wax based), indian ink and a black ballpoint. The prismacolour pencils i've used before and give a rich, deep colour. Bit of an experimental pic, and I think i'll be using the prismacolours a bit more.

Oooh...he's there, but he's not there. Just when you get him to hold still so that you can focus he changes again! (hold still!) I love the use of color and lack of definite lines, it creates a great mood!

Yes, the pencils are the best. I think this is the best usage of those materials I have seen in a long time. The lighting is amazing, as if its direction is being reflected behind his sword!

Cool one there! I really like the face, it's so strange..! The right arm is pretty cool and the cape on the left shoulder.. whoa! That's a real nice pic... !

Oooh, prosmas! You must tell me what you did with the prismas to give it that....Neatness. I love the armoury stuffs, very creative and original. The skin tone really sets a mood, very nicely done!

Beautiful use of color...very rich and smooth. The way the cloth is draped about his body is also quite nice, as is the way his anatomy/armor/etc looks slightly distorted yet still functional.
