	This is Phèdre nó Delaunay, from Jacqueline Carey's Kushiel's Chosen. She's an anguissette, which is something like a god-chosen masochist, and a courtesan who accidentally became a spy and a national heroine. She's dressed up as Mara, another famous anguissette.

5 Sep 2003	Keri	Loading... Very awesome pic and a very awesome book. At that part of the book, I pictured Phedre's hair being down, but that's just me. I think you got the dress dead on, and I love the ribbons!

2 Mar 2004	Kushiel's Dart	Loading... Maybe I'm crazy, but I just don't remember her having her eyes covered. And Her hair was up, but it had a mesh net over her hair. The dress is pretty though I believe it was more of a strapless dress. The picture is pretty though. but it's not really one that jumps out as being Phedra.
21 Jun 2005	Setsuna-chan	Loading... Actually i just finished reading the series and her eyes were covered because no one could recognize her by her eyes at the party. Its a very good picture and a very nice dress. I wonder if any one has been able to find a dark enough red to match the anguissette red.
31 Oct 2005	Nardaviel	Loading... Very impressive. I'm not sure her hair was quite the way you depicted it, though. It says she has curly hair, but I've never imagined it as the sort of... afro, for lack of a better word, that you show it as. But her eyes were definitely covered. And I love the ribbons. You described her well, too.
