SciFi and Fantasy Art: Malice

Definately a bit different from my usual style... I did this as an illustration for a teen-run magizine recently put together in my area; specifically corresponding with a wonderful article(If you could call it an article...more like a piece of art in itself, IMHO) written by a friend. Its a bit hard to understand if you haven't read the piece but simply put, it relates a rose to evil, which explains the title. I was very happy with the way this came out. As you can prpbably, the actual flower part of the rose is actually a photograph. I did, however render it from a bright pink rose, which took a bit of time... The ribbon(red thing around the rose, if you cant tell...) is a bit lacking as I am not yet fully finished with this picture. Hopw you like it!
