SciFi and Fantasy Art: The Animal Bond

This one is from a Character caller Darkemon, at first the animal in his hand intended to be an scorpion, and in the first sketch it turned out well, but then on the second sketch it looked a little more alien and I liked it so it's sort of a strange scorpion...

woaah.. this is hella cool. its kinda creepy but very well done too. have ya considered coloring this? it would look even cooler wit tha right shades added.. but its great as it is too.
