Wow, i was planning to do "floating land" my self if it is what it is, but you did it great allready, and with the additional atmosphere, its just add to the "coolness".

This is gorgeous! Not just the idea, but the execution of it, as well... The perspective is very well done, and really gives a sense of depth to the piece. I can't do that 2. You have an excellent imagination -- I hope you know that!
