SciFi and Fantasy Art: WholdDeath Blonde!

2/2/00: Fixed the fire, hair, boots, background a bit. Pretty ready to roll. Now time to work on the Guy. He is the third part to this series. Time to make some prints and sell them at NorWescon! Hope to see some of you folks there in April.

I'm not a fan of the eighties blonde hair but the picture is amazing. Is it a Succubus? Because it surely looks like one. Especially considering the blonde hair, wings and tail, but where are her little horns?

Okay, you know what- if you don't like nude pictures go some place else! I don't particularly care for "sleezy" which this is, but I can appreciate that it is a good picture. I like the background and think everything was done superbly except one thing bugs me- her tail looks a little like something that has been ... um, to put delicately... inserted.

Admire your use of color, Love the background with the spiral galaxy and fiery valley.
Tail perhaps is not anatomically correct. Should be an extension of the spine, not extruded between buttocks, especially if she is presenting posteriorly; but nobody does tails correctly. Just another female packaged for male consumption. But affectionately done.
Attractive prints should sell well due to your amazing technique.

Great piece - she's hot! Definetly very fitting for a succubus, I suppose, but I really admire your feeling for the female form there. You've got it down very well, I'd say. Just a pity there are so many prudes out there who think that an unclothed body is *gross*. Silly people. But I'd better get out of here before I get beaten up by any of the numerous pre-teen martial artists who seem to hang around here. =) Great work!

This is beautiful work. There is nothing "gross" about the nude female form. Although, I agree that the tail does look like a plug instead. In my humble opinion it should appear as though it is growing out of the backbone. Thank you for sharing your talent.

This picture reminds me of the sixties animated movie "heavy metal"

:-) Alton Lawson replies: "Heavy Metal was done in the Eighties. But thank you. I enjoyed the first one very much as well. Fun, silly, sexy, some of the shorts were very well done."

Hmmm....again I must say the lines of her form are glorious indeed.

Then again, I am considerably partial to crimson and gold, not to mention creatures of a faintly demonic incline. Call it a quirk.

*grins gently though and murmurs about the background*

Quite enjoyable.

49 Alton Lawson replies: "Thank you Koimizu. It is my honor to please...I appreciate the comments and aspire to do more in the series someday."

I love the background for starters.
But for the clothes *shields eyes* she needs some. At least a leather bra and some short shorts (red would be a cool colour). If you disagree please consider changing the colour of the boots. They are very..well.. not demon like. Red would be an awesome colour.

Nudity can be very artful. It annoys me that people think it's gross or offensive. Besides, you drew it well, it isn't overly sexual, and it's anatomically correct. Props from me!

Beavis can go to h*ll (isn’t that where the picture is?), bloody prude. Nice drawing very well done.
