SciFi and Fantasy Art: Drizzt Detail

Just the details of the face and sword of the drizzt image. Someday soon the dwarf and the Halfling will be colored and then all together on a real background (sigh) someday...

Love the darkness of this picture especially her nice swords.

I like the details, but i think since he is a drow is skin should be more ebony, darker, and the swords a little more curved for more of a scimatar look. So far one of the better drizzt pics i have seen

Finally, a picture where he actually looks YOUNG, from another artist other than Lockwood.

Edit: Well, I think it's Twinkle anyway, given the blade's blue color. But even if it's Icingdeath instead, it's still a nice touch

Hrm...Gotta say I think I'm too used to Lockwood's drawing to really appreciate this. Something about the face seems...off, to me.

On the other hand, interesting adaptation of...pretty much everything Drizzt. I especially like the modification for Twinkle.

I should note that despite being his signature weapons, Drizzt is almost never drawn wielding scimitars: rather, the size, curve and length of the blades are more consistent with a Japanese wakizashi (the spell check is telling me that word is wrong, but it's the only spelling I know...). This is something I assume people are supposed to overlook: however, what you did here by putting Drizzt's hair up in that fashion has made him seem almost oriental, an element which I think actually improves the picture as a whole. There's a fierceness there that might not be present if the hairstyle were the standard one we typically see.

Great work.

Awsome art.

I've met drizzt a couple of times, and he makes a powerful ally.

That blue scimitar's a +3 weapon and its name is frostbrand.
