working from dark on the outsides and getting lighter
till the center the creature will look more 3d or stick
out more, also I must agree on the foreground, use corals

The Hippocampus is a fabulous horse of the greek Mythology, Neptun's coach is pulled by two Hippokampi, they don't look like horses! Hippokampi don't have four legs, they have a tail fin instead of the two hind legs.

The fins on them kind of have the 'holly leaf' look, though, the problem with making that sort of fin green. Your detail with the scales is great. Try putting some shading on it next time. | |
