SciFi and Fantasy Art: The Attacker

This elven maiden crouches among the bushes, a large stick in hand as she creeps up upon her unsuspecting victim, but who is her victim? This is the first colored pencil piece I've done in nearly 2 years, I think I did pretty well, though I need to work on my blending and such. Done with graphite 0.5mm lead, then gone over with pen and finally prismacolor colored pencils on sketch paper.

It's true that a background perhaps a leafy background would just do wonders here. A very hard pose to pull off, I congratulate you on your success.
