| 29 Sep 2004 |  Lennart van Nuil | It is a nice picture, but I think it would have been prettier if the whole thing would be gray, the moon kind off takes the attention away from her. Or vica versa, have her colored. Anyway, I like her dress, it rocks    Amber J. Colby replies: "Well the problem is that I am slowly trying to incorporate color into my work, but don't have the courage yet to do the entire thing in color. | 5 Oct 2004 |  John Johnson | I really love your more recent work. Your pencils work is awesome. The dress looks amazing, and the shading is top notch. I do have to agree with Lennart van Nuil though about the color, but you already addressed that so no need to say any more. I also have a fear of color in my work as well as backgrounds, so what did I do about it? I faced my fear and just dove in. Some times the backgrounds seem to work out as I put the color in. Well keep up the good work.
