SciFi and Fantasy Art: The Protector

This is the first in a new series I have started of warrior women. They are all part of the same tribe (in my mind at least) and all represent a person in my life, whom they are usually a gift for when completed. This first one was a gift to my brother for his birthday and represents the way in which he protected me in childhood and continues to provide support now. Hope you like it, it was truly a labor of love. ~mutters 'never want to draw buckles again...'~

This is an awesome picture. Like the shading. The darkness of the leather armour contrasts well with the light skin. Great work.
